UniCredit Group designates the Top Executive Management of the future Global Operations Company

UniCredit is currently developing a Global Operation Services Company for the whole Group, which is scheduled to start in the 1^st quarter of 2009. Today, the top executive management was designated:

-          Lissimahos Hatzidimoulas as Chief Executive Officer (presently head of HypoVereinsbank Back Office),

-          Giandomenico Miceli (presently Chief Executive Officer of Unicredit Processes and Administration) as Acting Deputy General Manager for Global Operations & Development, and

-          Gerhard Krisch (presently General Manager of Administrations Services for Bank Austria), as Deputy General Manager for Global Production.

The new company will cover all services currently provided by the regional Operations Companies or back office units owned by UniCredit, HypoVereinsbank and Bank Austria, and will initially involve approximately 7,000 employees in Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, Poland and the Czech Republic. The new company will provide Group-wide banking processing services based on a unified strategy and operating model, thus supporting and enabling all UniCredit Group business divisions.
