Bank Austria is responsible for the promising future markets in Central and Eastern Europe within the UniCredit Group. We regard this region in the heart of Europe as our core market, and thus in our newly-designed and expanded series of publications, we report extensively on this region.

The Research & Strategy Department part of UniCredit's holding company is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and forecasting macroeconomic data as well as financial and credit variables that may impact the Group's financial results in the Eurozone. This is done - in conjunction with UniCredit's Research Network and UniCredit's Research Board - through the study of key statistics, significant events and structural trends.

The results of the Research & Strategy Department's work are published within a series of regular and ad hoc publications.
